Between 2012 and 2014, TIE and its national association partners have organised a series of education efforts as part of the European Commission funded ‘European Toy Safety Information Campaign’. The aim of this education campaign was to help economic operators (manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers and authorised representatives) and other stakeholders to better understand and apply the requirements in the new Toy Safety Directive. The education campaign covered 24 countries and over 1,000 toy industry players.
