Today, Toy Industries of Europe marks an important leadership transition.
We would like to thank Sanjay Luthra now Chief Commercial Officer at Mattel, Inc.., for seven years of leadership, dedication and unwavering support as Chair of Toy Industries of Europe. During his tenure, he helped guide our industry through extraordinary times, from a global pandemic to a rapidly changing business and policy landscape. He strengthened our collective voice and helped bring new ideas to life, including the Play for Change Awards, which continue to celebrate the power of play to create positive change.
We thank Sanjay for everything he has contributed to the picture we have built together.
Following his election at today’s Annual General Meeting, we are delighted to welcome Frederic Lehmann “Freddy” as the new Chair of Toy Industries of Europe.
Freddy currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager Western Europe at the LEGO Group, leading seven major business units across the region. Having held senior leadership roles across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, he brings extensive international experience, a deep understanding of our industry and a strong belief in the positive impact of play on children’s lives.
As our puzzle continues to grow, we look forward to the perspective, leadership and energy Frederic will bring to the next chapter of our journey.
